The only bad thing is that I don’t think they have movelists or anything but they should be the same as in MK9. Once the NPC files are renamed, just put them back in the Assets folder, overwrite the old ones and now when you choose Shinnok or whoever, the files for the switched NPC will be loaded instead. Be sure to back up your files before hand. Then you find the NPC you want like Rain, Baraka, Sindel, Corrupted Shinnok, etc and rename their files to ones that match a legit character (in my case I used Shinnok) so Rain_A.xxx becomes CHAR_Shinnok_A.xxx and so on. How Did He Do It?Īpparently the modder went into the game’s directory and simply replaced the model and move-set for Shinnok (though it could be anyone) with those of the NPC character’s.īasically, you can find all the important files in “Assets” once you have it installed. One such person, a modder by the name of XVermillion on YouTube, has made characters playable that were once only enemies in the game’s singleplayer mode. I'd suggest once more you think again, keep your insults to yourself and start using the Return key, instead of writing bulks of repetition. With Mortal Kombat X just recently having been released, it’s amazing to see what some have already been able to get creative with.

I won't even argue about those "assets" being enough for a mod to make the char playable, I don't need to go there.īut please, keep pointing out Goro which is probably the only thing they've been honest about so far (despite being a ♥♥♥♥ move nonetheless, mind you). You say those chars (I only care about Tanya since she's going to be sold, but whatever) are lacking:īut surely 8 finishers (especially brutalities, lol), 10 lines of dialogue and those 6 extra moves are definitely more work than creating the base model, practically all its moveset and the standard voiceover. Well I was writing quite a long step-by-step explanation for your majestic brain to bask upon but since Steam decided to crash I'll cut it short. But using the Story assets as some sort of argument is just plain stupid.

Pay for a half made job? You mean to try and drive an argument for the Tanya in the Story being anywhere near finished? Does she have dialogue between herself and all other fighters? Two Fatality options? Variations? 5-6 Brutality choices? Is she balanced? Goro is Day One nonsense, be mad about that. If they do, then they clearly are rather. I refuse to believe anyone really thinks that a NPC fighter, that you fight against in the Story, who doesn't have a Fatality, doesn't have a Brutality, doesn't have Variations. You can't be that intellectually challenged. Originally posted by Absconditus:What in the actual world are you on about now.
